Saira Shakira is a Lahore-based designer label founded in 2011 by Saira Faisal and Shakira Usman, two friends who trained together at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design. They started the brand because they couldn’t find the clothes they wanted to wear themselves: traditional in spirit, but with sharper cuts and a more individual point of view. That mix of heritage craft and modern silhouettes is still what the label is known for.

The range covers bridal wear, formals, luxury prêt, prêt and unstitched collections, so there’s an entry point whether you’re the bride, a close family member, or a guest. Fabrics lean luxe: raw silk, net, organza, chiffon and velvet, worked with dabka, resham, tilla and sequins.

About Saira Shakira

The label launched in 2011 and grew from a small studio into a recognized name in Pakistani bridal and formal wear. The designers have shown at Pakistan’s fashion weeks and bridal showcases, and in 2015 they were among the designers chosen for a Swarovski collaboration with PFDC celebrating Pakistani couture. Their first retail store opened at Gulberg Galleria in Lahore, with a separate studio kept for bridal appointments.

Their approach combines traditional handwork with experimental cuts, which is why a piece can feel classic and fresh at the same time.
