Ali Xeeshan is one of the most recognisable names in Pakistani bridal couture, and probably the one with the most theatrical imagination. The designer is a graduate of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design and started showing in the early 2010s. He built his label around a simple idea: a wedding outfit should feel like a character in a story, not just a garment.

About Ali Xeeshan

Ali Xeeshan trained at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design and holds an honours degree in couture. His eponymous label launched in 2011, along with what he describes as Pakistan’s first theatre studio, and the brand is based in Lahore with a presence in Karachi. He is known for staging runway shows as full theatrical productions, and for bridal collections built around a concept, from royal themes to social commentary. His style blends Eastern embellishment with Western silhouettes, and his couture line has built a following well beyond Pakistan.
